Eureka Models AD60 Class Beyer-Garratt Locomotives Arrive and On Display at Rosehill

Exciting news for HO scale steam train enthusiasts — the latest shipment of Eureka Models AD60 Class Beyer-Garratt locomotives has arrived last week and was tested live at the Rosehill Exhibition. These impressive models are now in stock and ready for delivery.

A Welcome Return for the AD60 Class Beyer-Garratt

The new re-run of Eureka Models’ popular NSWGR AD60 Class Beyer-Garratt locomotives has finally landed, following strong demand from collectors and model railway enthusiasts across Australia.

This latest production run continues Eureka’s commitment to authentic, high-quality HO scale model steam locomotives — each crafted with precision detail, accurate liveries, and improved performance.

Improved Sound and Realism

One of the standout features of this release is the enhanced sound system. Thanks to the Zimo decoder and newly refined sound files by long-time modeller Terry Flynn, these locomotives deliver richer, more realistic audio and smoother operation. The result is one of the most convincing HO scale Garratt experiences ever produced.

Available Versions in the Latest Run

The new AD60 Class range includes several liveries and configurations to suit a variety of NSWGR eras and layouts:

All versions are available with or without sound.

Demand has been particularly strong for 6029 in NSW Transport Heritage livery, which is expected to sell out first.
